Nick Vorberg, goalkeeper of the Milwaukee Wave, shows spirit on and off the pitch.  In his eight seasons as a pro he was an MISL All-Star in 2005-06 and 2002-03.  During the ’05 MISL playoffs, he went 4-0 leading the Wave to their fourth league championship.

Off the pitch he is an active participate in the Making Waves program visiting schools throughout southeastern Wisconsin.  He is also friend to Charlie, a Golden Labradoodle.  Nick, Elisabeth (his wife) and Charlie live in Brookfield.

Where does Charlie sleep?  In my own bed, unless Nick is on a road trip with the WAVE and then it is on the bed with Lissie.

What’s your favorite activity?  I love playing in the snow and playing fetch with my toys also learning new tricks like 'hi 5.'

Anything else we should know?  Charlie says:  I am currently working on a trick where I get on my hind legs and stand for a treat but my owners don't seem to get it.
